Just what I needed.
Replacement Keys are hard to find for riding mowers. Luckily this key not only fits not only my craftsman mower, but my MTD Yard tractor as well. Good quality key, not easy to bend like the key I am replacing and a good rubber grip handle.
Life Saver!

Extend The Life of your New Belt
I've been reading the mixed reviews on belt quality. I expect to get from 100-150 hours out of a belt. I replace both mower deck belts 174368/174369 during the same season. I purchased my 1st set from Sears. They lasted almost 2 seasons (around 100 hours). I just installed new belts this season. They have already seen alot of abuse due to extremely high/wet grass. Most belts that break prematurely, break because of 1 of 2 reasons: neglect, due to heavy build-up on the top and/or bottom of the mower deck. Wet grass built up on the bottom creates extra work for the mower/drive belts. Heavy grass build-up on the top of the deck pushes the belt upward, not allowing it to track properly. Clean your mower deck after each use especially if you are mowing high grass. This will extend the life of your belts. The second cause is mechanical (1) misalignment, or (2) binding due to lack of lubrication (my deck has grease fittings) in either case the mower deck will need to be removed and...

durable, and does the job
I've been using this blade for several years. I have two acres to cut, and this blade lasts a whole season for me. That's pretty impressive, considering the amount of grass I have to cut. The blade usually starts to go a little dull in early October, when I'm done mowing for the year. As long as I don't hit any foreign objects while mowing, this blade is as durable as they come. Well worth the price. I get a good 25 mowings with this blade, and like I said, I have a lot of grass to cut. Recommended.

Don't waste your time and money
I bought this mower to replace my last mower that lasted 12 years!! I paid extra for this one to have an electric start. The company must have sent me the wrong charger because it won't even plug in correctly. I needed to mow so just used the pull start. I didn't need to mow again for a month (I live in rain free Austin, Texas) and forgot about the electric start issue. After mowing, I came inside and called Poulan about the issue. They told me to take it in to a repair shop. I have a tiny car so had to find a friend to drive it across town. The repair shop said it would take 5 weeks to even look at it. They wouldn't even show me if I was trying to plug it in wrong. Brought it back home and called Amazon. Since it was now out of the 30 days, I could not return it. I called Poulan again and they basically said "who cares"? I hate this mower. It is heavy, bulky, and no electric start. Most of all I hate the company. I think customer service is 90% of a company and they have 0%.

EXCELLENT MOWER
Love the key start. Easy to setup no assembly required. Unfold handle add provided oil, connect wire to spark plug, add gas adjust deck height,add gasoline, charge battery. Love battery charge connector on handle easy to connect charger. Side discharge works excellent. Rear bagger easy to install/remove. Always like large rear wheels. Front wheel drive better than rear wheel drive for easy manuvering. Powerful engine, clean cutting. Deck wash connector easy to use, cleans underside of deck real good.
Needs a throttle control
It starts up at full speed and can't be controlled, so if your going over grass where it meets gravel, it sucks up stones. The speed also propels the mower faster than i want to walk.

Worthless POS
I purchased this machine five years ago and wish I'd never seen or heard of it. It is as worthless piece of crap. It has been in the repair shop more than it's been on my property and has cost me many, many dollars and very many hours of frustration. The old Murray that I bought at Walmart gave me many more hours of good service than this Poulan riding mower ever did. I wish I'd kept it and driven this Poulan in the river. Do yourself a favor and avoid this mower like the plague which it is. This mower is only five years old and my repair guy says the only thing left to do is to put a new engine on it and I told him to just take it away and never bring it back. Maybe I can find an old Murray or some other used mower that will fill my needs. I never want to see this Poulan again. I hate it.

GREAT VALUE WITH WARRANTY
I did a lot of research to find the correct replacement part # for this battery that is used in my Sear's electric star/push or walk/behind self-propelled lawnmowers. AYP had the best price with shipping costs considered and had very detailed information on the battery. They delivered a brand new DII battery in original packaging to me in a timely manner. It saved me some money and came with a one year warranty, even though I never received any paperwork regarding the battery warranty details! I needed a new battery for my Sears lawnmower. I ordered this and it is an exact replacement and works perfecly. It arrived exactly on time and came partially charged. My gal really thought I needed this
I had trouble putting this in the side hangar til I squeezed the looped mount bracket just a bit(maybe less than 1/16") Now it drops in and lifts out free and easy.With dropping the mower a half a notch it makes the yard look great. it dumps easy also good purchase!
holding bar is to short
item works very well but issue is outside support bar, it is too short and I always have to stop and try and push it back in or the bag leans to the right. also doesnt hold as much as I was led to believe, for my smaller yard I am meptying 6-8 times before I am done, so lots of starting and stopping of the mower
